Open Question: earache that turned into a severe sore throat and headache?

I have an earache about 3 days now. This will hurt them, and when I touch or any similar, so I think this is a pimple (gross, I know). Last night, I developed a severe sore throat injury, when I speak or swallowing, headache and terrible is probably the best I've seen worse. My forehead is hot contacts and earache, has become significantly improved. What could this possibly be?
